About this Event

A full length dance performance of a margam should not end with the debut dance recital – and we all know that there are some of the finest dancers nurtured in the next generation. In an attempt to provide a platform for the next generation of dancers continue this great tradition of Indian Classical Dance, Natyaveda presents Natya Tarangam showcasing some of the dancers who strive to perform a full margam again. Tarangam – the continuity of our art that sustained thousands of years should go on forever.

NATYA TARANGAM – the continuity of Indian Classical Dance for future generations … presented by Natyaveda, a non profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promote this great art. Please support this small attempt to continue to present more of the young dancers in future.

Natya Tarangam 2017 features Rohitha Kaimal, Shruthika Kamat, Aditya Iswara & Nikitha Vicas presenting a new margam originally conceptualized and created by Shijith Nambiar as a solo dance specially for these 4 dancers is revised and choreographed as a group presentation by Vani Iswara.
