Deepika Padukone has recently missed out on two films, whether by her own choice or not. The first film is Spirit, an international project directed by Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The second, quite surprisingly, is the follow-up to Kalki 2898 AD. After director Nag Ashwin declared that she wouldn't be part of Kalki 2, Deepika has become a topic of debate and fierce discussions among movie fans online. Her supporters have fervently defended her, arguing that she has the right to pursue a career that acknowledges her role as a mother. Meanwhile, the talented actress has begun filming for Shah Rukh Khan’s King. On the day she started working on this Bollywood film, she shared a mysterious (likely intentional) post. "The first lesson he (SRK) shared with me nearly 18 years ago while we were filming Om Shanti Om was that the journey of making a film and the people involved are far more important than its success."

When you consider the post in light of the recent issues between Deepika and the producers of Spirit and Kalki 2, it takes on a different perspective. The line "the people you make it with" indicates that Deepika wants her fans and the audience to understand that she prefers to work under her own conditions and with those who respect her decisions. Deepika added, "I completely agree and have used that lesson in every choice I've made since." Known for being private, Deepika did not proactively announce her departure from Spirit and Kalki 2. This allowed the filmmakers to shape the story around her leaving. However, with her recent post, Deepika might have attempted to share her own point of view.
